hi, I’m Kathleen
I am a program manager, team builder, and professional development fanatic. If I’m not at work or with friends, I’m either in the woods or making something.
my story
In May 2022, I took an intentional hiatus from work to roadtrip across the western United States and Canada with my partner of 11 years. We spent 10 months camping, hiking, mountain biking, trying to learn how to farm (mixed success there), practicing photography, skiing, and indulging in precious, unrushed time with family and friends. In February 2023, we began our return to domesticated life and moved from the Bay Area, CA to Boulder, CO.
what’s next
I am currently seeking full-time opportunities in program design and management, climate tech, workforce development, talent development, people operations, career/professional readiness, and curriculum design.
I have experience at both early-stage startups and established companies, and am interested in opportunities at both. I am also available for part-time consulting in the above areas.
personal philosophy
I am driven by the belief that one’s career can exist in harmony with one’s values, personal goals, and the environment, and that a career can be more than a mechanism to deliver a paycheck. I believe there is ample opportunity to have a career that excites you, is financially sustainable, and has a positive impact on society.
This has shaped my personal approach to my own career - by pursuing roles at mission-driven and impact-oriented companies and organizations - and it has shaped the actual work I’ve done to support hundreds of people elevate their careers, realize their goals, and support their families.
I’m motivated by the people around me, whether that be my direct team, a partner, my colleagues, someone I’m coaching, or the communities I serve in my professional and personal life.
