job search strategy
Have you been job searching for a while without any results? Just starting out in your search? Feeling burnt out and ready for a refresh?
No matter where you are at in your search, I’ll work with you to understand your goals, provide different options to structure your search, and develop a plan to keep you on track with less burnout.
-
resume, cover letter, portfolio, and other content reviews
Your application materials should quickly and concisely highlight your strongest accomplishments, contain relevant key words, be tailored to the types of roles you’re applying to, and be packaged in a way that allows readers to get the most important information in 30 seconds or less.
Sound impossible? It’s not! We’ll work together to polish your application materials so they reflect your best, most professional self and grab readers’ attention.
-
networking strategy
85%+ of jobs come from networking, and it’s estimated that as much as 70% of jobs are never even posted publicly. Networking is, hands-down, the best way to get a job. It doesn’t matter if you’re socially anxious or a social butterfly; you can make networking work for you.
We’ll take stock of your existing network (it’s probably bigger than you think!), evaluate your goals, and develop a networking strategy that moves your job search goals forward.
-
behavioral interview prep
The interview is your chance to help the employer understand why you are the best candidate for the job. There are ways to interview that empower you to control the narrative, even when you get your most dreaded question or are caught completely off guard.
Whether you’re a nervous interviewer or just looking to dust off the cobwebs, I’ll meet you where you’re at to help you build your interviewing skills AND confidence. We can tailor this session to a specific role, or keep it general.
-
negotiation and offers
This is the fun part. You have an offer, maybe a couple (go you!), and you know you should negotiate, but you aren’t sure how or even if you can. I assure you, you can; there’s a lot more to a job offer than just the salary!
I’ll work with you to review the offer, outline your priorities, and come up with talking points that you can use to make a strong, professional case for your ask. Negotiation might be intimidating, but it’s an expected part of the offer process, and we’ll work together to make sure you’re not leaving money or perks on the table.

professional development
Maybe you’re not actively job searching, but are looking to level up in your career, improve your relationship with your manager, get more done in a day, or build a specific skill. I can help with that too!
I’ve coached professionals through a broad range of personal and workplace opportunities, and would love to work with you 1:1 to understand and help you meet your goals.
