1:1 & group coaching
1:1 vs group coaching - which is right for me?
1:1 coaching is for anyone looking for completely tailored, individualized support. Group coaching is available for up to four individuals at a time, and could be a good option if you know other people (preferably in your field, but not necessarily) who would benefit from the same support that you are seeking. When working with groups, I incorporate peer feedback into the process, so that participants have the opportunity to reflect and continue the process outside of scheduled sessions. Both individuals and groups will get “homework” from me to work on after a session, and groups may find they benefit from the added accountability of working with peers.
Comprehensive career and job search coaching
Best for: individuals or groups who are looking for ground-up support in starting or refreshing their job search strategy, who are unsure about what career(s) they wish to pursue, or who are planning a major career transition. Before our initial meeting, I will ask you to send me your resume, link to your LinkedIn, as well as any other self-promotional materials (portfolio, GitHub, personal website, etc.). I review these before we meet (included in the initial consultation fee) and they help me get to know you better. Coaching sessions last 50 minutes, and that time is yours to discuss any topics that would be most helpful.
À la carte support (1:1 only)
Best for: individuals who feel confident about their job search progress/career overall, but want feedback on one or two specific areas. Meetings (when applicable) last 25 or 50 minutes and are focused on a single topic.

FAQs
Is there a commitment to meet more than once?
No, there is no commitment to meet more than once. Individuals hoping for longer-term professional development support or significant job search support will likely benefit from multiple sessions. I am not a full-time career coach, so while I am happy to work with clients on an ongoing basis, my focus is helping you reach your goals as quickly and efficiently as possible. I recommend booking a free 15-minute consultation so we can discuss your goals, which will allow me to give you a better idea of which service(s) might be most helpful to you and whether multiple sessions may be necessary.
This is a frequently asked question?
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Can you provide technical or field-specific feedback?
My background is in general career and professional development in the private sector, with a particular focus on careers in software engineering, data science, product design, marketing, HR, and program management. Unfortunately I am not able to do code reviews, technical interviews, or otherwise assess areas specific to your job function.
